Hillsborough County Water Resources Division

Civil, Structural, Instrumentation and Electrical engineering services were provided for the expansion of the Falkenburg AWTP from 6.0 to 9.0 MGD, the South/Central Pumping Station addition and the Telemetry Improvements projects near Tampa, Florida. With a final installed cost of $11.4M, both project design and construction were completed on time and on budget. The project included the addition of new treatment facilities, pumps, 5 M gal storage tank, and SCADA system improvements for the entire facility (distributed control via PLC’s located throughout the facility) and the South/Central Service Area.
