PegasusTSI has proven experience in the design, engineering, procurement and construction of phosphate and nitrogen fertilizer projects. This experience includes plants for producing wet process phosphoric acid, super phosphoric acid, granular fertilizers (DAP, MAP, TSP and NPK), animal feed products (dicalcium phosphate, defluorinated phosphate), granular urea and more.

Over the past 35+ years, our team has provided EPCm services for more than 75 large scale fertilizer projects around the world. Our process engineering staff has deep knowledge in designing new plants, pilot plants, revamping existing facilities and scale-up/commercialization of processes for the fertilizer industry. As a result, our core fertilizer team’s experience includes projects in the United States, the Middle East, Latin America, Australia, South Africa and China.

Mosaic Fertilizer, LLC Sulfuric Acid Converter Replacement

PegasusTSI provided Engineering, Procurement and overall Project Management services to Mosaic Fertilizer, LLC for the replacement of their existing sulfuric acid converter at their No. 8 Contact Acid Plant (CAP) in Riverview, Florida. Beginning with the development of a ±10% estimate, the goal of the project was to replace their current converter with a new larger diameter converter.
