Commissioning
PegasusTSI - From the initial concept front end of a project to plant start-up, PegasusTSI requires plant turnover to be by Utility and Process systems rather than the normal area turnover approach.

Our “make it happen” philosophy is integral to fulfilling project requirements that are more complicated than most common facilities and is best supported by our team establishing an early role working with the process licensors to identify the systems and recommended sequences for start up during the Front End Engineering Design (FEED) phase.

PegasusTSI considers commissioning and start-up an integral part of any detailed design project.

PegasusTSI includes commissioning considerations during the detailed design phase of a project. Commissioning systems and boundaries are identified on key project documents.

PegasusTSI – System Driven Commissioning

All PegasusTSI projects have a common commissioning procedure:

  • Systems are defined.
  • System boundaries are determined.
  • Critical project/plant interfaces are determined.
  • Logical system turnover plan is part of the Master Schedule.

Common commissioning procedures include:

  • Early turnover of infrastructure items by AREA turnover to including the roads, storm drains, water supply, steam, wastewater, air, security, communications and power to facilities
  • Switch to Commissioning by SYSTEMS at the 80% milestone
  • Construction identification of initial punch list
  • Punch list priorities established
  • Integrity checks and tests
  • Flush and clean
  • Complete restoration of systems
  • Commissioning plant startup proceeds
  • Mechanical completion certification
  • Final functional loop checks
  • "Mock" Commissioning implemented
  • System Start-Up
  • Finalize all punch list items
  • Plant signoff
  • Issue final turnover certificate
